1. Information we process

When you use RJNS, we may process the public Instagram username you submit, public post data returned for that analysis, account information when you create an RJNS account, technical usage information needed to operate and protect the service, payment entitlement information, and information you voluntarily send through our contact form.

• Account data: your email address, account identifier, account usage counters, account creation time, and authentication-session information. RJNS does not store your password in plaintext; passwords are stored using a unique salt and a memory-hard password hash.
• Authentication data: active login sessions are represented by random session tokens in your browser. RJNS stores a one-way hash of the session token rather than the raw session token in application storage.
• Analysis inputs: public Instagram usernames and the selected analysis size.
• Public analysis data: public post metadata and metrics such as captions, dates, likes, comments, views, and other metrics when publicly available through our data provider.
• Saved analysis history: when you are signed in, RJNS may store the Instagram username, analysis status, selected analysis size, timestamps, and normalized public post results so you can reopen completed research without starting the same analysis again.
• Service protection data: essential signed cookies, hashed identifiers used for rate limiting or authentication protection, and records of failed or successful authentication attempts needed to prevent abuse. RJNS does not intentionally store a raw network address in its application storage for rate-limiting purposes.
• Support data: name, email address, topic, message, timestamp, and limited technical context such as user-agent information when you contact us.
• Transactional email data: your email address and delivery metadata needed to send account-verification and password-reset messages.
• Payment data: paid transactions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. RJNS receives transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock purchased access, but does not collect or store full card details.

2. How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate RJNS accounts, verify account email addresses, deliver password-recovery messages, track account-based usage limits, provide Instagram content analysis, save and reopen analysis history, calculate performance metrics, deliver purchased analysis credits, prevent abuse, cache recent public results to improve speed and cost efficiency, respond to support requests, maintain service security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Storage and retention

RJNS may cache recent public Instagram analysis results for a limited operational period so repeated requests for the same public account do not unnecessarily trigger a new data-provider run. Saved analyses associated with a signed-in RJNS account may be retained for longer so the account holder can reopen prior research. Account, billing, support, security, transactional-email, and transaction records may also be retained when necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

You may request deletion of personal information associated with your RJNS account through the Contact page. Some information may need to be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

4. Service providers

RJNS relies on third-party infrastructure to operate the product. These providers process information only as necessary for their respective functions:

• Vercel — website hosting and serverless application infrastructure.
• Neon — database infrastructure used for RJNS accounts, authentication-session records, saved analysis history, usage state, and billing ledger data.
• Apify — public Instagram data retrieval, operational caching, provider-run processing, and storage of contact/support submissions.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for account verification and password recovery.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing, order administration, tax handling, refunds, and related Merchant of Record functions for paid products.

5. Cookies

RJNS uses essential first-party cookies for authentication, free-trial or usage state, paid analysis entitlement, and temporary authorization to retrieve analysis results. Authentication and billing cookies are intended to provide and protect the service rather than for third-party advertising.

6. Public social media data

RJNS is designed for public Instagram accounts and public content. Availability of individual metrics depends on what is publicly accessible and what our data provider can retrieve at the time of analysis. RJNS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

7. International processing

Because RJNS uses global cloud, data, email, and payment providers, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, applicable provider safeguards and legal mechanisms govern those transfers.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or other treatment of personal information associated with your use of RJNS. Use the Contact page and choose the privacy-related topic to submit a request. We may need sufficient information to verify and process the request.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect RJNS. These include server-side secrets, salted memory-hard password hashing, one-way hashing of stored session tokens, HttpOnly and Secure authentication cookies, rate limits, authentication-attempt controls, restricted account-scoped history access, email-verification controls, and transactional billing entitlement checks. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as RJNS develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
